Yorkshire farm machinery importer, Manterra Ltd will exhibit at Cereals 2016 to launch its new strip till equipment and showcase the latest in precision farming equipment.
Manterra Ltd will use the show to launch the Baertschi OekoSem IV ROTOR-Strip-Till three in one tillage, sowing and fertiliser system (pictured below) that is built to withstand Northern European conditions.
Of the launch, Manterra founder, farmer and agronomist Andrew Manfield said: “I have high hopes for the Baertschi OekoSem IV ROTOR-Strip-Till System. It has been proven in Europe for 25 years and has delivered consistently higher yields and lower production costs. The system also has great synergy with the work that we are doing on wide row spraying technology and complements our Unia and Trimble ranges.”
On stand 325, Manterra will also be exhibiting the GeoPlough system fitted to a Unia Vario plough. GeoPlough controls variable width ploughs using Trimble GPS signals to give perfectly matched bouts and the best possible weed burial.
Cereals 2016 takes place on 15th and 16th June at at Chrishall Grange, Duxford.
Manterra is also an authorised reseller for Duport spoke wheel injection systems for precise fertiliser placement and is the key technology supplier to the Stockbridge Technology Centre’s Tru-Nject project that is bringing previously unheard of levels of accuracy to soil mapping.
