Grimme will be exhibiting a number of machines with upgrades and new developments at the Potato Europe event in Kain, Belgium on 2nd and 3rd September 2015.
The line up includes the four-row self-propelled potato harvester VARITRON 470 and the two-row ISOBUS-capable bunker harvesters SE 260 and SV 260. Main features on the second generation VARITRON 470 include a 7-ton unloading bunker with patent pending, state-of-the art 435hp engine, automatic and constant share depth control (Terra Control), large 1050″ tyres, new ergonomically designed control console and a 2.8m width sieve.
The ring elevator of the 2-row bunker harvester SV 260 is equipped with the enhanced, very sturdy OptiBags. This guarantees an increased soil sieving and a very gentle transfer and transport of the potatoes. The optional ComfortDrive system also improves driving stability and reduces machine oscillations on uneven soil.
All harvesters are equipped with the Visual Protect system, which means that a colour monitor provides the driver at all times with a comprehensive overview even of critical conditions in the harvester so that he can intervene before a fault occurs. Details of features such as Tractor Implement Management, load-dependent fully automatic speed control for separators (Speedtronic), and ISOBUS control can be discussed on the stand.
Grimme will also be demonstrating a complete storing technology line, a box filler and the new LC-series conveyors.
