Kubota UK is increasing its presence in the mainstream agricultural market by announcing a new partnership with N Richardson Ltd.
The deal means N Richardson Ltd is now Kubota’s key agricultural dealer in Norfolk, offering its customers access to the company’s market leading range of high performance M60, M-GX and L Series tractors as well as its line up of RTV utility vehicles.
Based in the heart of the Norfolk, N Richardson Ltd is an agricultural and horticultural hire, sales and service business. The company was only established in 2011, but now with five full time employees, the business has already developed an excellent reputation in the area for providing a friendly and first class service offering that supports the industry leading solutions it supplies its customers.
Neil Richardson, owner of N Richardson, commented: “In business terms, we are very much a company in our infancy, but the team we have comes with years of industry experience and this has helped us shape our business to provide a service that we know the county wants and needs. The good news is that in a relatively short space of time we have managed to build up an excellent reputation for ourselves in the local area and business activity is high.
I believe that this is testament to the quality of the service we provide and the fact that we only sell products that we are confident in. This new partnership with Kubota can only strengthen our position further and we are delighted to be working with them.”
N Richardson Ltd provide Kubota’s full range of agricultural solutions, including its recently launched MGX-II tractors, the M Series range and a number of its compact tractor solutions in the 32HP to 58HP category, such as the L Series and GL40 Series. In addition, the company also supplies Kubota’s market leading utility vehicles, like the new RTV-X900.
Adrian Langmead, Business Development Manager for Kubota’s Tractor and Groundcare division, said: “The partnership with N Richardson Ltd is about strengthening and expanding our agricultural dealer network and we are delighted to be working with Neil and his team. The company
is a young and innovative dealer that is earning a fantastic reputation in Norfolk, so by working together, our aim is to grow our agricultural presence in this region.”
Neil Richardson continued: “Farmers know the Kubota brand name and know it stands for quality and reliability. However, with limited Kubota activity in this area before now, it presents a massive opportunity for us and Kubota to increase market share, particularly with more new solutions coming like the M7001 Series, it’s extremely exciting times ahead.
“The reaction and feedback we have received so far is also really encouraging for what the future holds. People know they are looking at quality machines that won’t let them down, which is a critical factor in the decision making process. Already we have had a lot of interest in Kubota’s M110GX and M135GX tractors from a variety of customers including stock farmers, arable farmers and vegetable growers.”
One of the factors that could be attributed to N Richardson’s success in the last three and a half years is its refreshing approach to customer service.
“A lot of customers that come to us may have been to other dealerships and made to feel intimidated by pushy sales people,” said Neil. “At N Richardson, every customer is treated the same, we do the best deal we can for them and that’s it, there’s no hard sell and no haggling over price! We fully involve service engineers in the sales process as well to ensure customers are getting the best advice on the market and are getting the right machine for them.”
