Deutz-Fahr will have its new 5, 6 and 7 Series tractors on show at LAMMA 2017. Key features include new transmission and suspension, front integrated linkage, new cab design and control layout.
Of particular note for UK farmers is the 6 Series RCSHIFT which features a new fully automatic robotised transmission with 30 forward speeds and 15 reverse speeds. Its innovative electronic management system optimises performance in relation to operating conditions, responding and adapting to the requests of the user in real time.
The Rcshift range includes the Deutz Stage 4 engine, as well as the innovative front axle with optional outboard disc brakes, the new adaptive front suspension and the high performance hydraulic system with proportional electronic control.
A new style cab with all around improved visibility enhances operator comfort, ease of use and safety. A five-inch colour display provides the driver with a stream of data on the tractor’s operating conditions. A new armrest joystick provides excellent operator comfort. Noise levels are reduced due to the fact that the cab and engine hood are not connected.
The cab is equipped with both electro hydraulic spool valves (for TTV and RCshift models) and mechanical spool valves (for RCshift and Powershift models). For all models, the front lift and front loader integrated controls can be mechanical or electro-hydraulic.
The 5 Series is a versatile all round and compact utility tractor with shorter wheel base and smaller wheel options available on the lower horsepower range, making it ideal for stock farms. The cab on the 5 Series is mounted on Hydro Silent Blocks, which cuts noise and vibration by up to 40%. Cab updates improve visibility and ergonomics. An exclusive feature is the Bowden cable and push-button control for a smooth and positive gear shift.
All models have benefited from a 5% increase in engine power and radically reduced fuel consumption and emissions. All engines are now compliant with Stage 4 (Tier4 Final) emissions regulations.
New front axle suspension improves safety and driver comfort in all working conditions. The SDD rapid steer system halves the number of steering wheel turns. Wet disc brakes on all four wheels allow front wheel braking action even when four wheel drive is not engaged.
A key feature on the 7 Series is its easy-to-use and ergonomic MaxiVision 2 cab giving enhance operator comfort and visibility on all sides. A five inch colour display in the dash console uses the new InfoCentrePro which shows a complete range of up-to-date personalised operating data. A comfortable armrest control with the MaxCom joystick is also new addition.
Separating the cab from engine hood at the bulk head reduces noise, vibrations and heat. A new air conditioning system operates quietly and provides uniform air distribution. A sunroof is available in three designs.
The latest Deutz-Fahr precision farming system is supplied as standard with unique features such as central monitoring and control unit displayed on an iMonitor 2.0 with 12-inch screen.
The 7 Series Deutz 6.1 engine meets Stage 4 (Tier 4 Final) emission standards and provides a greater torque reserve and starts with a larger torque. The continuously variable TTV transmission has been upgraded and has a top speed of up to 60 km/h capability.
Intelligent, adaptive front axle suspension system guarantees maximum stability and traction on the road pulling heavy loads, and in tillage work in the field, and is also available with High-performance dry disc brakes on the front axle.
