The accreditation scheme for technicians and parts personnel working in the land-based engineering industry has a new name and has undergone a review and overhaul. The newly appointed administration body BAGMA has taken over the administration from the Institution of Agricultural Engineers from March 1st.
The scheme formerly known as the Landbased Technician Accreditation Scheme, was created to offer a career progression path to aid the recruitment, retention and training of staff who choose a career in the landbased engineering industry.
The new scheme aims to simplify its processes, lessen the financial burden on subscribers and enhance the value of being part of the LTA Scheme.
Along with a new logo there will be an emphasis on both raising the awareness of the LTA scheme and adding value for those engaging within the scheme.
In line with the new General Data Protection Regulations, GDPR, LTA will be instigating a new on line registration document and contacting those in the scheme with information regarding GDPR in the near future as required.
Access to LTA registration can be found on the industry website www.landbasedengineering.com
The LTA registration application process will be updated and simplified over the coming months.
