A New Generation of sprayers from FarmGEM has been designed and developed and are now available.
The range has also been extended and now includes amenity, orchard & vineyard, mounted, trailed and self-propelled sprayers.
The FMH amenity, FGA & MVF mounted vertical fold boom and some trailed models being completely new, but retaining many familiar FarmGEM features and options.
Managing Director Terry Fixter said “it was time to refresh our offering of machines, so after listening to the needs of existing owners and operators we have designed new models incorporating new features and the very latest technology. We have also updated our logo and colour scheme to mark this New Generation of machines”
The new models in the trailed range are the Innovator, Pioneer and Atlas. The Innovator Trailed Sprayer offers customers a budget a machine with a 24 metre boom. It retains a high quality finish and robust build strength and features such as rate control terminal with a 5.7” colour screen, 7 spray sections and fluid re-circulation.
The Pioneer model replaces the popular Diamond model and retains the proven “Self-Trak” drawbar, has axle suspension, joystick control and a rate control terminal with a 8.4” colour screen. The feature packed Atlas tops the new range, it comes with auto axle steering, air suspension, boom widths to 28m or to 36m with the “Tri Fold boom.
All models have either 3300 or 4400lt tanks, and the new two stage folding heavy duty “Series 3” boom with “3D” active boom suspension.
The new “3 Series” Boom fitted to Innovator, Pioneer & Atlas trailed models is packed with features to provide the farmer with many years of trouble free service and backed up by a 3-year construction warranty*. 18, 20, 21 and 24 metre boom widths are easily available as the “3 Series” versatile construction allows boom widths to be changed by adding wider bolt in sections of boom.
A 28 metre version of the “3 Series” boom is also available for the Atlas models. All boom have tilt correction and boom lock as standard features and the booms can also be specified with independent variable geometry and independent outer boom fold.
They are manufactured using a highly durable “lattice style” construction from 3mm & 5mm thick high tensile steel which is then treated with a protective oven baked powder coat finish. Every moving joint on the boom is secured with stainless steel pins which a tab secured to prevent excess wear, each joint also has a greasing point. The “3D” active suspension system controls boom bounce, incline and yaw providing a very stable platform for the spray nozzles, the bounce suspension remains active when the boom is in its transport position, protecting the boom when travelling over rough farm tracks and roads.
Single, triple or quin spray nozzle bodies are available and are mounted up within the boom construction and protected from damage, they are supplied via large bore 19mm stainless steel spray lines which are suitable for high volume liquid fertiliser applications too. An auto spray liquid re-circulation system is a standard feature and ensures all nozzles are primed and constantly purged preventing spray mixtures from settling in the hoses and lines.
To compliment the “3D” boom suspension an ultra-sonic automatic boom levelling system can be fitted. We can also provide LED night work lights for the boom and operator work station
