Belgian manufacturer Warzée has expanded its range with the new Warzée DE651 Feeder-Bedder. This machine is able to feed both hay and silage square bales.
Specially made for square bales Due to the flat bottom and its conveyor chain, the structure of the Warzée DE651 is specially made to allow any type of square bale. The adjustable raised plate allows the machine to adapt itself to any bale size. Equipped with a spiraled rotor, this machine can undo and feed hay and silages bales and even spread the straw up to 15 metres.
Due to its innovative rotor, the distribution of silage and hay is homogeneous and avoids any blocking, even with compact and wet bales. The operator can control the conveyor chain speed in real time. The food is dispensed in a regular windrow along the fences. The machine bonnet avoids material loss to get a perfect result : a clear and clean distribution. The material is breathable and not chopped by the rotor.
Once the ration is dispensed, the operator can remove the bonnet to switch to the bedding function. The rotor spreads the straw up to 15 metres, while limiting dust.
In addition to the automatic hitching, the machine is supplied with a remote control. Due to this remote control, the operator can control the different functions on the machine without leaving the loader cab (lower/raise the rotor, lower/raise the bonnet, adjust the conveyor chain speed). The battery positioned under the machine is directly connected to a generator, allowing the machine to charge itself when working.
Like the Warzée DE551 unroller-spreader, the DE651 is supplied with a bale spike equipped with an automatic hydraulic hitching. So the spike can be used to load the bale, load the machine and make it work without leaving the loader cab.
