Flagship Tractor Launched – High Power Meets Precision and Comfort
STEYR Traktoren unveiled its all-new Cervus CVT range at Agritechnica 2025, targeting large-scale farm operations with a combination of high power, efficiency, and advanced technology. The 360hp 6360, 390hp 6390, and 435hp 6440 models offer a flexible, compact design suited to both heavy draft work and high-speed transport.
Operators benefit from one of the quietest cabs in its class, semi-active suspension, and an independent front axle, delivering comfort and productivity in the field. Three configurable Tech Packs provide precision farming capabilities, including ISOBUS compatibility, Tractor Implement Management (TIM), Easytronic II with GPS-triggered headland control, and S-Turn II for full headland steering and implement automation. Connectivity Included ensures real-time farm monitoring and remote management via FieldOps™.
Powered by an 8.7-litre FPT Cursor 9 six-cylinder engine, the Cervus CVT combines high performance with efficiency. Long service intervals, low-idle functionality, and a 680-litre fuel tank minimise downtime.
A new continuously-variable 4×2 transmission enables a top speed of 60kph, while the optional central tyre inflation system (CTIS) allows rapid adjustment between field and road, optimising traction and reducing soil compaction.
The Cervus CVT supports high payloads with a base weight of 12,400kg, gross vehicle weight of 18,000kg, 11,760kg rear linkage lift, and up to five high-flow hydraulic valves. An optional 5,800kg electronic front hitch and dual hydraulic pumps delivering 360 l/min provide maximum implement versatility.
With these features, STEYR’s Cervus CVT sets a new benchmark in high-horsepower tractors, offering precision, comfort, and power for demanding agricultural operations.
