New Tractor Wins Top Award
JCB claims the Gold Award for the all-new Fastrac 6000 Series at the UK’s largest agricultural machinery and technology show.
The 284hp Fastrac 6260 and 335hp 6300 beat strong competition to secure the prestigious ‘Machine of the Year’ accolade, which will be formally presented during LAMMA 2026 at NEC Birmingham on 14–15 January.
This recognition follows JCB’s recent success at Agritechnica in Germany, where the company won ‘Tractor of the Year’, and builds on its Silver Award for innovation at LAMMA 2025 for the TM280S telescopic wheeled loader.

The judges highlight the 6000 Series’ unique features in its power class, including adaptive suspension on both axles for outstanding stability and ride comfort, multi-mode four-wheel steering, and class-leading braking performance with large air-operated external disc brakes and ABS. These systems help prevent wheel lock-up under heavy braking, even in low-grip conditions, supporting safe, high-speed travel and field work.
The Fastrac 6000 Series also offers unmatched versatility. Rear, front, and rear-cab implement mountings allow a wide range of attachments, while the new central tyre inflation system lets operators quickly adjust pressures for road or field conditions via the iCON digital touchscreen display.
Two satellite guidance receivers deliver highly accurate low-speed guidance, precise wayline acquisition over undulating terrain, and automated headland turn options. The Twin Steer system enables ultra-precise control of both steering axles, boosting productivity and simplifying complex manoeuvres.
With a top road speed of 66kph, advanced digital control, and class-leading suspension and guidance systems, the Fastrac 6000 Series sets a new benchmark for high-power, high-speed tractors in the UK and international markets.
