Trailed Cultivation and Consolidation System Launched
Agriweld has unveiled its new Agri-Press trailed cultivation and consolidation system, designed to deliver effective soil movement, thorough mixing and consistent seedbed preparation in a single pass. The machine is aimed at growers seeking a versatile solution to meet modern cultivation demands while reducing field passes.
Built around a heavy-duty trailed chassis, the Agri-Press is available in working widths from 3m to 8m, with recommended power requirements of 300hp and above. The design allows the machine to operate efficiently across a wide range of soil types and conditions, making it suitable for both primary and secondary cultivation tasks.
A key feature of the Agri-Press is its three-stage cultivation layout. At the front, operators can choose between different working elements, including two rows of concave discs, two rows of pigtail spring tines, or three rows of protected shearbolt tines. This flexibility enables the machine to be configured to suit varying cultivation depths, residue levels and soil structures.
Behind the front working section, spring tine paddles help level the surface, break down clods and spread soil evenly across the working width. The rear of the machine is fitted with ARS press roller rings, which provide consistent consolidation and leave a durable ridged finish designed to retain moisture and improve seedbed quality.
Optional features include eradicator tines for compaction relief, enclosed spoke options to reduce residue build-up, and a rear towing hitch to increase versatility in the field. The modular design allows working elements to be changed as farming systems and conditions evolve.
The manufacturer says the Agri-Press is designed to help growers improve work rates, reduce operating costs and achieve reliable cultivation results with a single, adaptable machine.
