New High-Horsepower Tractor Series

Deutz-fahr introduced its new 8 Series TTV tractor range at Agritechnica 2025, launching two models rated at 313 hp and 340 hp. Developed and built at Deutz-fahr Land in Lauingen, the new range combined a redesigned cab, updated digital control systems and revised driveline technology.

The 8 Series featured the new SigmaVision cab, a four-pillar structure designed to improve all-round visibility and operator comfort. The cab incorporated full insulation, pneumatic suspension and a three-zone automatic air-conditioning system. Inside, the iControl armrest brought together colour-coded controls, an MMI interface and two multifunction joysticks – the iMotion joystick with programmable buttons and the CrossLever joystick with updated layer management.

Two high-resolution digital screens formed the basis of the operator interface: a 15-inch iCluster display positioned on the A-pillar and a 12.8-inch iMonitor 5 set beside the armrest. The updated electronic architecture enabled integration of SDF Smart Farming Solutions, including Auto Guidance, ISOBUS, XTEND and telematics. The system also supported digital cameras and was preconfigured for Deutz-fahr TAGS, the Tractor Assisted Guidance System recognised with a Silver Medal at the Agritechnica 2025 Innovation Awards. The tractors were also supported by the MyDeutz-fahr app for remote monitoring and management.

Comfort features included a seat with massage function, a DualMotion headrest, Low-E coated windows, laminated safety glass, footrests and a full LED lighting package. A newly developed front axle suspension with a long swing arm and dry disc brakes increased stability and braking performance, with transport speeds of up to 60 km/h.

Power came from the N67 engine with eVGT and Hi-eSCR, delivering up to 1,398 Nm of torque. Developed in collaboration with FPT, the engine was HVO-compatible and offered a 1,000-hour oil service interval. Cooling was handled by an aluminium system designed to maintain efficiency under high load conditions. The TTV transmission provided stepless travel from 0–60 km/h, aiming to maintain traction and fuel efficiency across varied field and road work.

Hydraulic output reached up to 220 l/min through a Load-Sensing system with a separate CleanOil reservoir. The tractor could be fitted with up to ten electronic spool valves, a low-flow valve for the hydraulic top link and pressure-relief couplers to ease coupling operations. Lifting capacity was rated at 12,000 kg at the rear and 5,450 kg at the front, the latter equipped with Load Relief Control.

According to SDF representatives, the new range had been developed to provide high power output, improved efficiency and enhanced operator comfort within a fully digital operating environment.
