High Capacity Trailed Sprayer Debut
Kuhn returns to Cereals 2026 debuting its innovative Karan high-capacity trailed sprayer alongside several other updated products aimed at arable farmers and contractors.
The Karan was launched last summer as the companies flagship trailed sprayer providing high daily outputs and premium levels of comfort and accuracy. The mid-range Power 6000 model at Cereals features 36m aluminium booms and a tank capacity of 6,000 litres. John Hulland, UK sales manager, says:
“Cereals is the ideal platform to showcase our arable focussed machines, especially the premium Karan trailed sprayer for operators requiring high accuracy and rapid filling times,” says John. “The Karan has been four years in development, driven by extensive research into operator requirements for high output trailed sprayers. It’s a well-used phrase, but the Karan is 99% new and is specifically aimed at maximising spraying time and accuracy.”
A key focus on the Karan is the advanced Eagle boom technology package, which uses ultrasonic sensors to constantly monitor and adjust boom position in relation to the spray target. Operators can achieve accuracy up to 25kph and boom heights are stable from 30cm. It’s also compatible with 25cm nozzle spacings and Kuhn’s I-Spray spot application system. Other features include a Track-Matic steering angle of 28 degrees, an integrated winch for pump removal in 15 minutes, and Kuhn’s Autospray PWM technology for accurate dosing.
The company will also be showing its updated range of Espro drills. The 4002 R model on stand now features a full-length,mid-height operator platform for improved safety and hopper access, while the drill can be half folded for easier loading. New Espro models – 3m, 4m and 6m – have a straight disc option for reducing soil movement, while the 6m Espro 6002 drill is 700kg lighter than its 6m predecessor.
“Other machines on display include the largest Axis 50.2 H EMC W mounted fertiliser spreader, Optimer and Cultimerstubble cultivators and a trio of CCI screens (CCI 60, CCI 800 and largest CCI 1200) all offering versatile interfaces that can be switched between tractors and connected to Isobus implements from various manufacturers. We’re looking forward to meeting new and existing customers at what promises to be a busy and positive show.”
KUHN will be on stand 634.
