Tractor wins Red Dot Product Design Award
The new Puma series from Case IH has received a prestigious Red Dot Product Design Award, recognising the tractor’s combination of operator-focused functionality, styling and technological integration.
Presented by an independent international jury, the Red Dot Product Design Award is regarded as one of the world’s leading design accolades, honouring products that demonstrate outstanding innovation, usability and aesthetic quality.
First unveiled at Agritechnica 2025, the latest Puma range introduces significant updates aimed at improving operator comfort and daily usability. Enhancements include easier cab access, revised interior styling, additional storage space and upgraded in-cab displays designed to support long working days.
The exterior has also been redesigned, with a new hood profile and lighting package improving forward visibility. New LED fender tail-lights combine safety with a distinctive visual identity aligned with the wider Case IH tractor family.
Performance and manoeuvrability were also central to the award-winning design. The new Puma features a tighter turning radius for improved handling in the field and yard, while integrated technology systems are designed to simplify operation and improve efficiency.
Key features include the Pro 1200 display, connectivity with Case IH FieldOps™, ISOBUS implement compatibility and Tractor Implement Management (TIM) functionality.
The tractor’s styling was developed by the in-house Case IH industrial design team at the CNH Design Centre in Oak Brook, Illinois, maintaining the consistent design language now seen across the manufacturer’s tractor portfolio.
Eric Jacobsthal, CNH Industrial Design Operations Manager, said the award reflected the close collaboration between design and engineering teams.
“The new Puma tractor shows how strong, confident design can also make a real difference in comfort, visibility and ease of use,” he said.
