Agritechnica 2027 puts machinery connectivity at centre of industry programme

Agritechnica 2027 will focus on connected machinery, automation and intelligent systems, with organisers positioning the Hanover exhibition as a meeting point for manufacturers, component suppliers and agricultural technology developers.

The event, organised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), will take place from 14–20 November 2027 under the theme “Connecting Agricultural Intelligence”. The programme will cover agricultural machinery and components, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital applications and connected equipment.

Systems & Components, the business platform for agricultural machinery and off-highway suppliers, will again form a key part of the exhibition. Around 900 supplier-industry exhibitors are expected, covering technologies including drivetrains, hydraulics, electronics, sensors, software and automation.

For machinery manufacturers, the programme reflects the growing role of integrated systems in product development, with mechanical engineering increasingly linked to electronics, data processing and connectivity. Systems & Components will provide a dedicated forum for suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to examine engineering developments and establish business contacts.

Dedicated business days and international markets

Agribusiness Days on 14 and 15 November will provide a more concentrated business environment, with organisers aiming to give professional visitors and exhibitors additional time for technical discussions, networking and investment decisions.

The revised visitor arrangements will require attendees to select their day of attendance when buying tickets, with daily allocations in place. The ticket shop is scheduled to open on 1 May 2027, initially with early-booking offers for the Agribusiness Days.

France and Brazil will be the event’s focus countries, supported by targeted travel packages, networking and business activities. Young Professionals Day, scheduled for 19 November, will address recruitment, vocational training and career opportunities across the agricultural sector.

Digital technology and global farming systems

The Digital Farm Center will showcase applications involving digitalisation, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence. The Global Farming Systems feature will examine how technologies and production methods respond to different climatic, economic and operational conditions.

The Systems & Components Expert Stage will complement the exhibition with discussion of engineering trends and technology developments, encouraging dialogue between suppliers and machinery manufacturers.

Agritechnica 2025 attracted 2,819 exhibitors from 49 countries and approximately 477,000 professional visitors from 171 countries.

Exhibitor registration for the 2027 event is scheduled to open on 16 November 2026.
