McHale Plant sales and Komatsu geared-up for ‘resurgence’ in felling activity

  • McHale Plant Sales adds the latest Komatsu 901xc and 931xc harvesters and 845 and 855 model forwarders in its forestry product offering

On foot of what it terms a ‘resurgence’ in timber felling activity, Komatsu Forest equipment distributor, McHale Plant Sales has boosted the availability of its harvester and forwarder equipment with the inclusion of latest 901xc and 931xc harvesters and 845 and 855 model forwarders in its forestry product offering.

It is understood that a number of ‘big deals’ are in the pipeline indicating that, as McHale sales director, Denis McGrath puts it, “the freeing-up in the issuing of felling licenses is having a positive impact on the forest floor as equipment sales trends and the rising presence of trucks carrying cut timber to sawmills would suggest.”
