New STEYR® Plus tractors nominated for Farm Machine 2024

The new STEYR® Plus tractor range has been shortlisted in the nominations for the Farm Machine 2024 award, a competition in which new agricultural equipment developments are scrutinised by a panel of ten international judges from the farming media for the productivity advantages they offer to prospective owners.

The STEYR Plus series is a finalist in the Compact Tractors category, one of 12 machine sectors into which manufacturers can nominate their new machine developments for consideration. The winners will be announced on November 14 at Agritechnica 2023 in Hannover.

In addition, all machines are nominated for the Audience Choice Award. Voting for this award is possible on  and will start from October 9th until November 11th ,2023. Everyone can vote for their favourite product once per day within this period.

With five models from 80-117hp that succeed the Kompakt range, the STEYR Plus models enter a tractor segment representing the largest market volume in Europe. To match the growing demands from smaller farms, and larger business needing more from smaller tractors, they feature performance enhancements including a 25% increase in maximum hydraulic pump output from 64 l/min to 80 l/min and a 13.5% rise in rear hitch lift capacity, from 4,400kg to 5,000kg, a boost to permissible gross vehicle weight from 6,500kg to 7,000kg, and a larger maximum rear tyre size of 420/85 R38. All of these features enable farmers to do more with a compact tractor package.
