Precision farming tech trade-ins
Cambridgeshire-based precision technology specialist LH Agro has announced a series of summer trade‑in promotions across multiple Topcon product ranges, including the Norac UC7 Plus boom height control system, XD+ touchscreen console and AGS-2 RTK receiver.
The offers, which are available until 25th September 2026, provides British growers significant savings on upgraded precision farming systems.
LH Agro says the offers are designed to help farmers modernise ageing equipment, improve accuracy and benefit from the latest advancements in guidance, steering, spraying and ISOBUS control.
Norac UC4 and UC5 boom height control trade‑in
LH Agro expects strong interest in its Norac boom height control promotion, which offers up to £2,500 off the new UC7 Plus system when trading in a UC4 or UC5.
The UC7 Plus, which was introduced in July 2025, consolidates the UC5’s three modules into one and introduces new MS‑1 height sensors with improved inertial tracking, faster processing, corrosion‑resistant nylon housings and a new protective screen for the transducer.
Topcon X30 and AGCO C3000 console trade‑in
Growers trading in a Topcon X30 or AGCO C3000 console can receive £1,440 towards a new Topcon XD+ touchscreen console, complete with auto steer and tramline view feature activations, plus TAP Fields one‑year access with modem for bi‑directional data transfer and remote support.
The XD+ features a 12.1‑inch display, the latest Horizon software, and full TAP integration. Key capabilities include a faster processor, improved remote support, steer‑to‑boundary functionality, and optional Xtend and auto headland turn activations.
Topcon AGI‑3 and AGI‑4 receiver trade‑in
By trading in a Topcon AGI‑3 or AGI‑4 receiver, growers can receive up to £4,180 towards a new Topcon AGS‑2 RTK receiver with NTRIP modem.
The AGS‑2 offers quad‑constellation satellite tracking for superior positioning, fewer signal dropouts and increased productivity. Features include Universal Tracking™ Technology, scalable accuracy options (SBAS, DGPS, PPP, RTK), SkyBridge™ RTK assist, and compatibility with a wide range of steer‑ready controllers and aftermarket steering systems.
The receiver and console trade-in offers are also available as a combined upgrade package, with £4,375 towards the Topcon XD+ console and AGS‑2 RTK receiver, with auto steer and tramline view activations, and a one‑year TAP Fields subscription with NTRIP modem.
This combined upgrade delivers both improved display performance and enhanced positioning accuracy, supporting more efficient field operations.
Artemis Psi and iSOCAN seed drill display trade‑in
For those looking to upgrade their seed drill display, trading in an Artemis Psi or iSOCAN seed drill display for a new ID1 console can get them auto section control, variable rate control, and a 12‑month TAP Fields subscription with WiFiadaptor at no additional cost.
The ID1 can also function as an ISOBUS Universal Terminal, transferable between vehicles and compatible with ISO‑compliant implements. LH Agro highlights that growers can gain TC‑SC and TC‑GEO functionality from £1,565; a cost‑effective alternative to unlocking embedded tractor terminals.
“We are thrilled to announce these summer promotions, enabling producers to access and upgrade kit for the season ahead,” says Richard Reed, managing director of LH Agro.
“As Great Britain’s preferred distributor of Topcon precision farming systems, we have been working closely with Topcon to bring these trade-in offers to the UK market at a challenging time for British agriculture.”
“I hope these offers across a range of equipment can help farmers make significant savings when upgrading to more efficient kit.”
The offers are valid until 25th September 2026, and are also available through LH Agro’s UK-wide dealer network.
