Battery-Electric Tractor Showcases Autonomy at Agritechnica
Fendt is highlighting its e107 Vario tractor at Agritechnica, featuring battery-electric technology and advanced automation. The e107 Vario delivers 50 kW (68 hp) in Eco mode and can reach 66 kW (90 hp) in Dynamic+ mode for short bursts.
The tractor is accompanied by the e100 Vario with a battery-electric range extender from GreenIng and a rear-mounted precision seed drill. The system uses environmental sensors to operate independently of GNSS, following land contours dynamically and precisely.
According to Ed Dennett, this technology represents a significant step forward in autonomous and sustainable farming operations.
