Bespoke tractor at the Royal Highland Show
- Massey Ferguson will return to The Royal Highland Show this year, showing a bespoke MF 8S Dyna-VT tractor that has been through the MF By You customisation programme and features a host of options above the standard specification levels
Visitors to the MF stand will be able to see the specially commissioned tractor which has been built by MF’s Beauvais factory for a farmer in Norfolk. Special details on the machine include black livery, bespoke seat covers featuring the customer’s name, smart phone support, along with nice to have extras such as bottle and can holders.
Lindsay Haddon, advertising and sales promotion manager for Massey Ferguson UK and Ireland, says having the tractor on stand allows us to showcase the customisation options on offer. “The tractor highlights the next level of specification in our MF By You option. It allows customers to tailor a tractor to their exact preference, over and above our usual spec levels, to get a bespoke product to suit their requirements.”
MF will return to its larger stand (Agri Ave H.162) for the second year after taking on the new location from ScotAgri last year. It allows the full range of machinery to be on display, starting with the MF 1740 compact tractor and MF 4710 M and MF 5711 M machines, right up to the flagship MF 8700S models. The MF 5S, MF 6S, MF 7S and MF 8S tractors that feature the new styling will all be on show. Alongside the tractors there will be a full line-up of grass kit options from an MF 662 rake to the MF 4160V and MF 3130F round balers. Elsewhere on the stand will be a MF Ideal 9T combine, featuring a 30ft header.
Lindsay went onto say the Royal Highland Show is a great opportunity to see current and new customers. “The show is an essential event in the calendar for us and we are delighted to be returning once again to our new bigger stand to meet our customers. The show offers us, and our Scottish dealer network, the opportunity to build relationships and grow our business across the country.”
New to the stand this year will be a dedicated shop, run exclusively by MF dealer Hamilton Ross Group, selling merchandise from overalls and gilets to keyrings.
MF will be supported at the event – on stand Agri Ave H.162 – by its full Scottish dealer network, which includes dealerships covering the borders and northern England.
