Manufacturer returns to National Ploughing Championships
Merlo will return to the National Ploughing Championships in 2026 with an expanded line-up of agricultural and construction telehandlers, showcasing the latest developments in performance, productivity, safety and operator comfort.
Taking place from 15 to 17 September 2026 in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, the event will give visitors the chance to see a broad selection of Merlo machines designed for modern farming, construction, contracting and material handling operations across Ireland.
Agricultural machines on display
The agricultural display will include the compact TF30.7 CS, the TF33.7 and the TF42.7. The TF30.7 CS is suited to everyday farm tasks, offering agility and visibility for livestock buildings, feed yards and confined working environments. The TF33.7, a popular choice for Irish farms, combines a compact footprint with a 3.3-tonne lift capacity and 7m lift height, making it well suited to bale handling, feed loading and grain or fertiliser movements. For larger-scale operations, the TF42.7 provides increased lifting capacity and productivity for bulk materials, bale stacking and intensive livestock units.
Construction range highlights
Merlo will also showcase construction models for lifting, site logistics and specialist applications. The P27.6 PLUS delivers strong manoeuvrability in a compact package, making it suitable for housebuilding, refurbishment work and restricted-access sites. The P40.14 PLUS combines a 4-tonne lift capacity with a 14m maximum lift height for precise and efficient material placement on demanding projects. Completing the line-up is the ROTO 50.26 Plug-in Hybrid, a rotating telehandler offering reach, lifting performance and hybrid power for complex construction, infrastructure and specialist lifting work.
Designed for Irish Conditions. Backed by Local Expertise.
Supported by its growing Irish dealer network, Merlo says its range is designed to perform in demanding local conditions, from busy farmyards to major construction sites. Visitors will be able to meet the Merlo team and dealer representatives throughout the show to discuss machine specifications, applications and current offers.
Merlo Ireland will be located at Block 3, Row 15, Stand 300, where visitors are invited to “look for the green booms”.
